Christopher Geissler

Christopher Geissler is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Linguistics at Boston College. He holds a Ph.D. from Yale University's Department of Linguistics and has previously served as a postdoctoral researcher at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf and as faculty at Carleton College. His research focuses on articulatory and acoustic phonetics, particularly in Tibetan and diaspora languages, exploring speech production, phonological representation, and sound change. He has published extensively on topics such as articulatory timing, tonal phonology, and linguistic pedagogy.
