Christopher Gallant

Christopher Gallant is an Associate Professor of Digital Media and Communication at Hilbert College within the Division of Arts and Letters, where he coordinates the Communications department internship program and directs the Center for Creative Media.

He holds a BA in Journalism, Broadcasting & Speech and an MFA in Media Arts Production from SUNY at Buffalo. With 17+ years of professional broadcast experience at stations including WRDW-TV, WTOL-TV, WKBW-TV, and WGRZ-TV, his career bridges academic instruction and industry practice.

Gallant specializes in broadcast journalism techniques, digital storytelling, and media production workflows. His expertise emphasizes real-world applications in news reporting, documentary production, and cross-platform content creation, informed by active industry engagement.
