Christopher Daly is a Professor of Philosophy at The University of Manchester. He joined the Discipline Area in 2002 and specializes in metaphysics, philosophy of language, philosophical logic, and philosophy of science. His current research focuses on reduction/identity in metaphysics, reference/indeterminacy in philosophy of language, and applications of fictionalism.

- Graduate: MA Philosophical Methods (PHIL60021)
Research Projects: Includes work on the Foundations of Ontology (2011-2014) as Co-Investigator and ongoing projects on modal realism, fictionalism, and metaphilosophy.
Activities: Engaged in invited talks on topics like reductionism (2014-2017), simplicity in metaphysics, and complex theories in simple worlds.
