Dr Christopher Dallimore is a research associate at the Institute of Customs and International Trade Law (ICTL) at the University of Münster and programme director for the Master of Customs, Taxation and International Trade Law (MCA). He oversees the design, accreditation and international representation of the online MCA programme.
His research centres on customs and international trade law, with particular emphasis on WTO compliance, supply-chain security instruments such as the Container Security Initiative, and broader European trade regulation.
Dr Dallimore earned his LLB from the University of Wales (1993), followed by an LLM from the University of Trier, Germany. Under the supervision of Prof Dr Hans-Michael Wolffgang he completed his doctoral dissertation in 2008 on ‘Securing the Supply Chain: Does the Container Security Initiative Comply with WTO Law?’.
He has published extensively in legal journals such as Aussenwirtschaftsrechtliche Praxis and served as proof-reader for the World Customs Journal from 2010 to 2013. Dr Dallimore has also contributed to specialised legal language instruction through lectures in Legal English.
