Christopher Cramer

Christopher Cramer is an Adjunct Professor of Music (Guitar) currently serving on the faculties of Beloit College, Ripon College, and St. Norbert College. He also directs guitar instruction at the Madison Academy of Music. His roles include founding and leading guitar programs, conducting performances, and advocating for new musical compositions.

Dr. Cramer specializes in classical guitar performance, chamber music, and contemporary works. He has performed internationally at venues like the National Concert Hall (Taiwan), Eastman Museum (New York), and Suzuki Guitar Singapore. His collaborations include performances with the Manitowoc Symphony Orchestra and soprano Yi-Lan Niu, as well as premiering works by composers like Chiwei Hui and Alexander Nohai-Seaman.

His teaching extends beyond academia to community programs, emphasizing accessibility and outreach. Notable achievements include a doctoral minor in instrumental conducting and leadership roles in music education initiatives.
