Dr Christopher Cockshott is a Senior Lecturer in Psychology at the University of Wolverhampton, affiliated with the School of Psychology within the Faculty of Education, Health & Wellbeing. He has been a faculty member since 2016 and is actively engaged in teaching, research, and postgraduate supervision.

His work bridges psychology, education, and public policy, especially in the areas of employability and psychological health.
The recent publications reflect a strong trend in qualitative inquiry into social and psychological challenges related to unemployment, student mental health, and disability accommodations in higher education. His work increasingly informs policy, as seen in his research report for the Department for Education on the Adjustments Passport pilot.

Dr Cockshott supervises postgraduate research students and serves as an internal and external thesis examiner. He is a member of the Centre of Psychological Research's Wellbeing and Psychological Health research cluster, which fosters interdisciplinary work on psychological resilience, mental health promotion, and social inclusion.
