Christopher Bruell

Christopher Bruell is a Teaching Professor at the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice within the College of Social Sciences and Humanities at Northeastern University.

Education:

• PhD in Criminology and Justice Policy, Northeastern University
• MA in Criminal Justice, CUNY John Jay College of Criminal Justice

His research focuses on evaluation research, intersectionality in the criminal justice system, and the role of social support in criminal offending. Previously, he worked with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts' Executive Office of Public Safety and Security, where he evaluated homeland security strategies and analyzed recidivism patterns in sex offenders.
