Christopher Bareither

Christopher Bareither is Associate Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Colorado State University, specializing in geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineering. His research examines mechanical and hydraulic properties of waste materials, sustainable mine waste management, and infrastructure solutions for developing communities.

Current investigations include waste consolidation behavior, salinity effects on soil properties, and design innovations for containment systems. As faculty advisor for Engineers Without Borders, he connects engineering education with global development challenges.
