Christopher Bade

Christopher Bade serves as Professor of Music—Woodwinds & Orchestra in Taylor University's Department of Music, Theatre & Dance, maintaining active performance roles as principal clarinetist of the Marion Philharmonic and bass clarinetist of the Muncie Symphony.

His academic credentials include:

Dr. Bade's professional focus centers on woodwind performance pedagogy, orchestral conducting, and music education within Christian academic contexts. He has presented research at the Lilly International Conference on College Teaching (2011, 2008) and Midwest Scholar's Conference (2009), and premiered Dana Collins' "Concert Music!" with the Marion Philharmonic in 2010.
