Christopher Alabi

Christopher Alabi is an Associate Professor and Nancy and Peter Meinig Family Investigator in the Life Sciences at Cornell University. His research focuses on understanding how macromolecular composition and sequence affect chemical/biological properties for therapeutic engineering.

The Alabi Lab specializes in:

• Designing novel polymers and conjugates for enhanced therapeutic properties
• Developing targeted antibody and peptide conjugates
• Engineering nanoparticle drug delivery systems

Recent publications demonstrate advances in intracellular protein delivery, plant nanobiotechnology, and antimicrobial oligomers. The lab collaborates with pharmaceutical partners to translate scientific discoveries into practical applications.

Research infrastructure includes capabilities in synthetic chemistry, bioconjugation techniques, and nanoparticle optimization. The team has produced 50+ publications and includes 12 researchers.
