Christophe Texier

Christophe Texier is a Professor at the University of Paris Saclay, affiliated with the Laboratory of Theoretical Physics and Statistical Models (LPTMS). He holds roles as co-director of the international Master’s program in 'Physics of Complex Systems' and correspondent for the quantum physics curriculum in the M2 iCFP program. His academic career includes teaching positions at the University of Geneva, Sorbonne University, and Institut Polytechnique de Paris. Texier’s research focuses on mesoscopic physics, Anderson localization, quantum mechanics, statistical physics, and stochastic processes. He has contributed to studies on disordered systems, random matrix products, functional determinants on quantum graphs, and quantum correlations in cold atomic gases.

His teaching spans advanced statistical physics, non-equilibrium physics, and stochastic processes at the graduate level. Texier’s work often bridges theoretical physics with mathematical rigor, addressing topics such as single parameter scaling, supersymmetry breaking in disordered systems, and zeta-regularized spectral determinants. He has authored numerous articles on localization properties, fluctuation analysis, and quantum systems in random potentials.
