Christoph Kletzer is Professor of Law and Vice Dean for International and Executive Education at King's College London. He holds MA degrees in Law and Philosophy from the University of Vienna, and LLM and PhD degrees from the University of Cambridge.
His research spans legal, moral and political philosophy, with emphasis on German Idealism (Fichte, Hegel) and Weimar Republic legal thought (Kelsen, Schmitt). Recently, he explores law-technology intersections, particularly blockchain and decentralization technologies.
Kletzer's publications demonstrate consistent focus on foundational legal concepts through historical and technological lenses. His work combines rigorous philosophical analysis with contemporary applications in financial technology and decentralized systems.
Teaching areas include Jurisprudence, Law and Social Theory, and Blockchain technologies. Previously, he taught at Cambridge, Durham, and Vienna universities, and served as Director of Studies in Philosophy at Queens College Cambridge.
