Dr Christine (Chris) Reading is an Adjunct Senior Lecturer in the School of Education at the University of New England (UNE), Australia. She contributes her expertise in information technology and statistics education within the Faculty of Humanities, Arts, Social Sciences and Education.
Her research focuses on the developmental growth of students' understanding of statistics and the integration of information and communication technology (ICT) in learning environments. She is particularly interested in how ICT is organized within schools and how computing studies are taught at the secondary level.
Chris is a member of the Society for the Provision of Education in Rural Australia (SPERA) and the International Statistical Institute (ISI), reflecting her commitment to rural education and statistical literacy. She holds multiple academic qualifications, including a PhD, MSc, BSc (Hons), DipEd, DipCompSci, BA, BComm (NE), and is a member of the Australian Council for Computers in Education (MACCE).
