Prof. Christine Eriksen is a Research Professor leading the Geographies of Disasters group at the University of Bern's Institute of Geography. Her work focuses on social dimensions of disasters, wildfire resilience, and climate adaptation. Previously, she held roles at the University of Wollongong (2007–2020) and ETH Zurich (2020–2023).
