Christine Charnock is a Lecturer and Programme Leader for the BSc (Hons) Web & User Experience Design at the School of Digital Arts (SODA), Manchester Metropolitan University. She holds a PGCE and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). Her teaching spans the Web & User Experience, Digital User Experience, and Creative Digital Design programmes, integrating industry practices to prepare students for creative and digital sectors.
Previously, she worked at the BBC as a UX practitioner, leading projects like BBC Sport, Homepage, Interactive TV, Bitesize, and R&D. Her creative work merges user experience, design, and visual art, focusing on social issues such as gender equality, imposter syndrome, mental health, and environmental concerns.
