Dr Christine Baduel is a Research Fellow at the French Research Institute for Sustainable Development (IRD) and an Honorary Associate Researcher at the University of Queensland, Australia, within the Queensland Alliance for Environmental Health Sciences (QAEHS). Her work focuses on organic pollutants of emerging concern in aquatic systems, including PFAS, pharmaceuticals, flame retardants, and tire additives.

Dr Baduel also works with the Queensland Alliance for Environmental Health Sciences (QAEHS) on wastewater-based epidemiology initiatives.
