Dr Christiern Rose is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Economics at The University of Queensland (UQ), within the Faculty of Business, Economics and Law. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Bristol (2016) and completed a post-doctoral fellowship at Toulouse School of Economics. His research focuses on applied microeconometrics with emphasis on peer effects, high-dimensional econometrics, health economics, and illicit drug markets. He is affiliated with the Centre for Efficiency and Productivity Analysis.

Recent studies explore housing insecurity’s mental health impacts, physician networks’ influence on innovation adoption, and the role of social peers in addiction recovery.
