Christianne de Poot

Christianne de Poot is a Full Professor of Forensic Science at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, holding an endowed professorship in Criminalistics since 2016. She is affiliated with the Faculty of Technology (FT) and specializes in crime scene analysis, forensic DNA techniques, cybersecurity crimes, and organized crime dynamics. Her research bridges forensic science with practical investigative applications, emphasizing rapid evidence analysis and decision-making at crime scenes.
