Christiane Abel is a Professor in the French Translation and Interpretation (TI) program at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies (MIIS) since 2001. She serves as the French TI Program Coordinator since 2009 and maintains a vibrant private practice as a freelance translator and conference interpreter for clients including the US Department of State, NGOs, and international organizations.
