Christian Weinert is a Lecturer in Information Security at the Department of Information Security, Royal Holloway, University of London. He previously held postdoctoral and doctoral research positions at TU Darmstadt's ENCRYPTO group. His research focuses on privacy-preserving protocols, secure communication, and large-scale data protection. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and has contributed to ISO/IEC standards through his BSI committee involvement.
