Christian Walter

Prof. Dr. Christian Walter is a Professor of Law at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMU Munich), holding a chair in the Faculty of Law's Department of Public Law. Prior to his current position, he served as Principal Investigator and Board Member of the Cluster of Excellence 'Religion and Politics' at another institution from 2007 to 2011, leading the research project C13 on the integration of Muslims and its impact on church-state relations in Great Britain. At LMU, he is associated with initiatives like the Munich Advanced Course in International Law (MACIL) and oversees the Jessup International Law Moot Court program. His research focuses on public law, European law, and the intersection of religion, politics, and legal systems.
