Christian Walter is a Professor at the Institut Agro Rennes-Angers (formerly Agrocampus Ouest) and serves as Director of the UMR SAS (INRAE/Institut Agro joint research unit). He is a Corresponding Member of the French Academy of Agriculture and co-head of the Professional License 'Les Métiers de l’Agroécologie' accredited with the University of Rennes. His responsibilities include academic leadership, research coordination, and strategic oversight of soil science initiatives.
