Christian Waldmann

Christian Waldmann is a Lecturer in the Department of Swedish at Linnaeus University, affiliated with the Faculty of Arts and Humanities. His research focuses on writing challenges in educational contexts, language acquisition in children, and Swedish grammar. He leads projects like 'Writing at the upper secondary level in students with and without a history of reading difficulties,' funded by the Swedish Research Council. His work bridges applied linguistics and education, emphasizing the interplay between language skills and academic success.

Waldmann holds a PhD from Lund University (2008) and has extensive experience in both research and teaching. He collaborates with the Linnaeus University Language, Cognition, and Culture Lab (LiLa Lab) and serves as Editor-in-Chief of ASLA's writing series.
