Christian Schimpf is Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Behavioural Public Policy Lab, University of British Columbia. His research develops behaviorally-informed solutions for public service delivery challenges and political mobilization. Methodological expertise includes experimental design, causal inference, and survey research applied to policy evaluation and democratic engagement.
Current projects examine stability of populist attitudes, psychological roots of protest voting, and policy feedback mechanisms. As Councilor-at-Large for PAPOR (2025), he promotes methodological innovation in public opinion research. Teaching focuses on scientific approaches to political analysis and quantitative methods.
