About
Dr. Christian Müller is part of the Chair of Mathematical Statistics and Probability Theory at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf, within the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. His research focuses on multivariate Ornstein-Uhlenbeck processes, (semi-)selfsimilar stochastic processes, and (semi-)stable hemigroups. He actively contributes to open educational resources (OER) in stochastics and statistics, co-developing projects like DigStat and OER.Stochastik.nrw, which provide digital learning materials for classroom and self-study.
Teaching responsibilities include exercise classes in Stochastics, Probability Theory, Actuarial Mathematics, Analysis, Complex Analysis, and Statistical Methods in Pharmacy. His 2022 article in the Journal of Stochastic Analysis introduces a closed-form formula for the stochastic exponential of matrix-valued semimartingales, highlighting expertise in advanced stochastic analysis. Collaborations include peer-reviewed publications and contributions to educational initiatives under Creative Commons licensing.
