Christian Liebig

Christian Liebig is a Professor of Business Informatics at Saarland University of Applied Sciences since April 2011. His academic and professional career bridges theoretical research with industry expertise in distributed systems, IT security, and data analytics.

He previously led industry projects in content management and business process architecture at Pepperl+Fuchs GmbH (2005–2011) and held academic roles at the University of Mannheim.

At Saarland University of Applied Sciences, he contributes to university governance as a deputy faculty council member and cluster representative. His teaching portfolio includes courses on Business Information Systems, SAP-based Business Intelligence, and Data Management, alongside module leadership in IT consulting and distributed systems.
