Christian Lause is a visiting language professor at the College of Europe in the EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies Department. He specializes in teaching French as a second language, focusing on professional communication skills such as clear writing, note-taking, and report drafting. His affiliations include the Alliance française de Bruxelles and the European Commission. Previously, he taught French at ESADE Business School in Barcelona from 1998 to 2005 to MBA, law, and business administration students.
He co-authored Rond-Point (2004), an innovative active learning method for French language acquisition, and authored the Alex Leroc detective story series designed to help non-native speakers improve their French through engaging narratives. His work emphasizes practical language application and pedagogical innovation.
