Prof. Dr. Christian Huber is a full professor at the University of Salzburg's Faculty of Natural and Life Sciences, leading the AG Huber Bioanalytical Research Lab. His research focuses on developing advanced analytical methods for proteomics/metabolomics, using mass spectrometry and chromatography to study biological systems. He coordinates the DigitherapeutX research group (2022–present) and previously led the Christian Doppler Lab for Biosimilars Characterization (2013–2021). He also spearheaded the international PhD Program Immunity in Cancer and Allergy (ICA) (2018–2022).
Research Highlights: Explores toxic effects of substances, medical diagnostics via bioanalytical methods, and integrated production of protein therapeutics. Collaborates with the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Nanovesicular Precision Medicine and the Center for Tumor Biology and Immunology.
Teaching: Offers courses in general/analytical chemistry for biological disciplines. Maintains the Core Facility Bioanalytics laboratory resources.
