Christian Hogsbjerg

Christian Hogsbjerg is a Senior Lecturer in Contemporary History at the School of Humanities and Social Science, University of Brighton. He specializes in Black British History, Caribbean history, and the intersections of race and empire within British identity and politics. His academic roles include previous teaching positions at UCL’s Institute for the Americas, Leeds Beckett University, and the University of York, where he completed his PhD in 2010 and served as a Teaching Fellow from 2013-14.
