Prof. Christian F. Majer holds the Chair of Civil Law, Civil Procedure Law, Criminal Law, and Administrative Offenses Law at the University of Public Administration and Finance in Ludwigsburg (since 2013), where he has also served as Director of the Institute for Applied Research (IAF) since 2019. Additionally, he is a Lecturer at the University of Konstanz (2009–2014), Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuremberg (since 2015), and IEXE Universidad Puebla, Mexico (since 2022). He concurrently directs the Institute for International and Foreign Private and Procedural Law at Ludwigsburg.
Education: Born in Tübingen (1978), he completed his Abitur in 1998, earned his First State Examination in Law from the University of Tübingen (2003), and passed his Second State Examination in Law at the Higher Regional Court of Stuttgart (2006). He practiced law at Majer, Majer & Yurdakul (2007–2013) while maintaining academic roles.
Research focuses on legal scholarship, particularly in civil, criminal, and administrative law, complemented by expertise in legal education. He edits the journal Jura & Studium und Examen (JSE) and co-edits the IAF Yearbook with Prof. Dürrschmidt, reflecting his commitment to academic publishing and institutional leadership.
