Prof. Dr. Christian Cordes is a Professor of Economics and Head of the Evolutionary Economics Working Group at the University of Bremen's Faculty of Business Studies and Economics. His research focuses on the biological and psychological foundations of economic behavior, cultural evolution in organizations, and sustainable economic policy. He holds a PhD from Friedrich Schiller University Jena (2003) and habilitation (2009). He has also served as a Visiting Scholar at UC Davis (2005-2006) and Research Group Leader at the Max Planck Institute of Economics (2011).
