Christian Conroy

Christian Conroy is an Assistant Professor and Coordinator of the M.S. Environmental Science program in the Department of Biology and Environmental Science at the University of New Haven's College of Arts and Sciences. His research focuses on ecological interactions between fish and their habitats, with applications to marine spatial management and benthic community dynamics.

Education:

• Ph.D. in Ecology, Evolution, and Marine Biology from Northeastern University
• M.S. in Marine, Estuarine, and Environmental Science from the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science
• B.S. in Biology/Environmental Science from Emory University

His recent publications span marine ecological mapping, fish community dynamics in marine sanctuaries, juvenile cod ecology, and climate-driven migration patterns in Atlantic cod and striped bass. Themes include habitat characterization, marine conservation, and climate change impacts.
