Christa Bailey

Christa Bailey is a Lecturer and Associate Librarian at San José State University (SJSU), serving as the Business, Economics & Psychology Librarian at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Library. Since 2016, she has co-coordinated SJSU's Affordable Learning $olutions initiative, which has impacted over 30,000 students and saved them an estimated $4 million in textbook costs. Her career spans roles at International Technological University (2014–2016) and Santa Clara University (2004–2014).

As a co-author of team-based publications, she emphasizes collaborative approaches to solving systemic issues in academic resource accessibility.
