Chris Wang

Chris Wang is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Chicago, specializing in quantum information systems. He holds a Ph.D. in Physics from Yale University (2022) and is currently supported as a Grainger Fellow.

Dr. Wang pioneers hybrid quantum platforms, with foundational work on bosonic quantum simulators for molecular dynamics at the Yale Quantum Institute under Robert Schoelkopf. His current Grainger-funded research engineers single-electron control on superfluid helium surfaces—a breakthrough approach for scalable quantum computation, simulation, and ultra-precise sensing. This bridges atomic physics, condensed matter theory, and quantum engineering.
