Chris L. Terry is a Lecturer in the Literature Department at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), within the School of Arts and Humanities. His work focuses on speculative fiction, young adult literature, and personal essays exploring multiracial Black identity and DIY punk rock culture. Terry is the author of novels *Black Card* (2019) and *Zero Fade*, as well as co-editor of the anthology *Black Punk Now* (2023). He holds an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Columbia College Chicago (2012) and a B.A. in English from Virginia Commonwealth University (2003).
