Chris Taylor

Professor Chris Taylor is a faculty member at the School of Fine Art, History of Art and Cultural Studies, University of Leeds, specializing in contemporary printmaking and artists' books as primary medium. His research intersects arts and sciences through cartographic documentation of travel and movement.

• Co-Director of PAGES (International Contemporary Artists’ Book Fair, ARCHIVE and New Voices projects)
• Co-Editor of Wild Pansy Press
• Artist books held in major collections including MoMA, Tate Britain, and Centre Pompidou

His research interests include material from Special Collections, comparative exploration of historic artifacts and contemporary artists’ works, and collaborative printmaking practices. Taylor supervises postgraduate researchers and teaches across BA and MA Fine Art programs.
