Chris R Bevan

Dr. Chris R Bevan is a Lecturer in the School of Computer Science at the University of Bristol. His research focuses on human-computer interaction, virtual reality, and new media technologies. He is part of the Bristol Interaction Group and has published work exploring presence in VR environments and attentional patterns in immersive media. Dr. Bevan received an ACM/SIGCHI Honorable Mention award in 2019 for his contributions to HCI research.

His work examines how psychological factors like suggestibility influence VR experiences and compares interaction efficiency across different display technologies. Current projects investigate industrial applications of mixed reality guidance systems.
