Chris Price

Chris Price is a Senior Lecturer in History, War Studies, and American Studies at York St John University. His doctoral research on Anglo-American rearmament received the British International History Group Thesis Prize (2000).

Research explores 20th-century political-military history, particularly British and U.S. economic-military dynamics during the interwar period and World War II. His publications employ quantitative methods to analyze combat effectiveness and strategic decision-making.

He co-leads the York Historical Warfare Analysis Group and collaborates with the York Cold War Bunker (English Heritage). Media contributions include BBC analyses of the Baedeker Blitz.
