Chris Patrick

Chris Patrick is a Professor at the Department of Psychology, Florida State University, specializing in neurobiological systems, psychopathy, and psychopathology. He directs the Patrick CNS Lab and focuses on clinical training and research.

Education:

• Ph.D. in Psychology, University of British Columbia (1987)

His research explores the neurobiological basis of mental disorders, particularly psychopathy, externalizing/internalizing disorders, and substance abuse. He developed the Triarchic Model of Psychopathy and cross-domain assessment protocols for traits like threat sensitivity, reward sensitivity, and inhibitory control.
