Chris North

Chris North is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech), affiliated with the College of Engineering. His research focuses on visual analytics, information visualization, and human-computer interaction with an emphasis on large displays and immersive environments. He leads the Scalable Adaptive Graphics Environment (SAGE) research group, developing interactive systems for sensemaking and collaborative analysis.
