Chris Nnanatu

Dr. Chibuzor Christopher Nnanatu is Senior Research Fellow in Spatial Statistical Population Modelling at the University of Southampton's WorldPop research group. With a PhD in Statistics from Lancaster University, his research focuses on Bayesian statistical models for population data, geospatial modeling of health issues, and infectious disease modeling.

His methodological innovations include developing approaches for integrating multiple data sources and addressing spatial autocorrelation in population estimation. Recent publications demonstrate applications in public health, including mapping zero-dose children and assessing COVID-19 impacts on female genital mutilation prevalence.
