Chris Munson

Chris Munson serves as Professor and Program Coordinator of Music Media and Recording Arts within the School of Music and Performing Arts at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, leveraging over two decades of professional music industry experience in his academic role.

He earned a Bachelor of Music in Percussion Performance from Eastern Kentucky University (2006) and a Master of Arts in Jazz Studies from Middle Tennessee State University (2008).

His research and teaching expertise centers on Music Media and Recording Arts, with developed curricula for audio production and music technology programs.
