Chris Milnes

Chris Milnes is a Principal Lecturer specializing in Songwriting and Music Production, teaching courses such as BA (Hons) Music (Popular) and BA (Hons) Songwriting. A multi-instrumentalist, he tours globally with Hollow Coves since 2018, playing guitar, bass, and keys, and serves as their Tour Manager. He also collaborates with artists like bored at my grandmas house and manages artists through Lighter Than Air in Montreal, including Half Moon Run. Chris has extensive experience in live sound engineering, touring with bands like Far Caspian and clean cut kid across the UK, Europe, and the USA. As a prolific songwriter, he leads the electronic project 'Winemaker' and co-founded 'slowshape' and 'cryparty'. Additionally, he operates Good Boy Productions, creating audiovisual content for Yorkshire-based artists.

His professional background blends academic instruction with dynamic industry roles, emphasizing practical experience in music production, live performance management, and artistic collaboration.
