Chris Lee

Chris Lee is Professor of Literary Studies at Griffith University, specializing in Australian and postcolonial literature, public memory, and settler colonial cultures. With 35 years of teaching experience, he has served as Head of School and developed curricula across multiple institutions. Lee's publications include Postcolonial Heritage and Settler Well-Being and the edited volume Trauma and Public Memory.

His research examines cultural mythology in Australian literature and the representation of conflict in historical narratives. Lee has held editorial roles for Australian Literary Studies and Journal of the Association for the Study of Australian Literature.
