Chris Kossen

Dr. Chris Kossen is an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at the School of Humanities and Communication, University of Southern Queensland. He holds qualifications including a BA, GDipArts, GDipFET, MA (Charles Sturt University), and PhD (James Cook University). His research focuses on Business Management, Humanities and Social Sciences Pedagogy, and Commerce. He teaches courses such as PRL1002: Principles and Practice of Public Relations, PRL2002: Community Consultation and Development, and PRL3004: Organisational Communication and Culture. His research explores mature-aged jobseekers, workforce flexibility, communication skills, and regional employment challenges. Kossen is affiliated with the Institute for Resilient Regions and supervises research in Business and Management. He has authored/co-authored influential works on unemployment psychology, communication strategies, and workforce dynamics.
