Chris Geiger, Ph.D., is an Instructional Associate Professor in the J. Crayton Pruitt Family Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Florida. He holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Northwestern University. His career includes foundational roles in establishing the Bioengineering program at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU), where he developed curricula and taught engineering courses over 15+ years. At UF, he leads the Senior Design Program, focusing on preparing students for real-world engineering challenges through intellectual property, regulatory compliance, and business planning education.
