Chris Exstrom is a Professor of Inorganic Chemistry at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. His research develops non-vacuum preparation methods for semiconductor nanocrystalline materials for solar applications and investigates carbonation processes in recycled concrete aggregates.
Current projects include developing next-generation photovoltaic cells using tungsten selenide and studying accelerated carbonation reactions with recycled concrete. He directs graduate research in materials chemistry and sustainable construction materials.
