Chris Dockery is Professor and Art Education Program Coordinator at the University of North Georgia. She directs the Paper Arts/BookArts/Letterpress Studio and creates multidimensional artwork exploring domestic ritual and cultural narrative through painting, book arts, and printmaking techniques.
Research Interests: Dockery's scholarship focuses on arts-based community research, Appalachian cultural heritage, and sustainable regional development. She served as Appalachian Teaching Fellow (2012-2017), organizing projects connecting academic research with community sustainability initiatives.
