Chris Carvalho is a General Practitioner and Research Fellow at the Wolfson Institute of Population Health, part of Queen Mary University of London. He serves as the CEG Clinical Director and previously acted as CVD/CKD clinical lead in North East London. His work focuses on prevention strategies, cardiovascular and renal disease, and addressing health inequalities. He holds an MBChB and an MSc in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. His current research explores Familial Hypercholesterolaemia and risk prediction algorithms, supported by an NIHR Career Progression Fellowship.
