Dr. Chris Brogly is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Lakehead University's Orillia campus and a Research Visitor at St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto. His research focuses on applying machine learning and natural language processing to analyze health information and internet content, with a particular interest in health apps and games.
Education: Postdoctoral Fellow in Injury Prevention Research at St. Michael's Hospital (Toronto), PhD in Health Information Science from the University of Western Ontario, MSc in Computer Science from the University of Western Ontario, and BCS Co-op from the University of Windsor.
Research interests include machine learning applications in health informatics, natural language processing for medical text analysis, and leveraging digital tools for public health surveillance.
